Terms and conditions:

All contracts and transactions between Charlotte Reed Photography and the client are subject to these terms and conditions whether they are made orally or written.

Upon booking, Charlotte Reed Photography requires a non refundable deposit, dates will only be secured upon receipt of deposit. 

Charlotte Reed provides all images via an passworded online gallery and will aim to have your completed edited images with you within 14 days (excludes weddings). 

​

Gift vouchers:

Any package option available, amount to be paid before the voucher is posted. Conformation of both will be given afterwards. All vouchers have an individual barcode. Name and package option will be recorded including contact details of the person who bought it.

Vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase date only. 

Incase of lost in postage or after, a new one will be sent with a barcode and the old one will before invalid. 

Bookings to made via website enquiry page or email. 

No price will be included on the gift voucher but details such as how many photos included will be on the voucher. 

Gift voucher can not be refunded or redeemed for cash. 

E vouchers are not available.

Once booking is made by recipient normal terms and conditions apply.

Use of images:

Charlotte Reed reserves the right to use clients images for advertising and promotion of Charlotte Reed including use on website and social media, entry into photographic competitions or exhibitions.

Payments:

A non refundable booking fee for wedding bookings and £20 for other Photoshoots booked is required to secure your date. The booking fee will be deducted from the cost of clients chosen package when calculating the final balance. The final balance is due 1 month prior to the wedding day. For other photoshoots the final amount is due 48 hours before the date arranged. 

Gift vouchers to be paid in full before postage.

Wedding contracts will be sent once deposit has been paid and to be signed by client(s) and sent back to Ivy - Rose photography with a copy being kept by the client.

Expenses:

Any Photoshoot or wedding booked within an hours drive of my home address in Dunstable Bedfordshire will incur no extra charge for travel. After this it will cost 40p per mile.

Cancellation Policy:

Mini Photoshoots:

The client may cancel the contract at any time by giving written notice (email acceptable) but in doing so will forfeit any monies paid. 

If a location photoshoot has been booked and weather conditions determine that the photoshoot can not take place then the photoshoot can be rearranged for another day at the earliest convenient date.

In the event that Charlotte Reed Photography has to cancel your shoot due to circumstances outside of our control every effort will be made to reschedule your shoot and you will be given the option to cancel and your deposit will be refunded in full. 

Weddings:

The client may cancel the contract at any time by giving written notice (email acceptable) but in doing so will forfeit any monies paid. 

Cancellations less than 12 weeks before the wedding will result in full payments still being due.

Conduct: 

The client is responsible for the behaviour of any persons accompanying them. Charlotte Reed Photography has the right to terminate any photoshoot without notice if it is deemed the clients behaviour is unruly or unsafe.

In such instances Charlotte Reed Photography reserves the right to charge the full fees. The client will fully reimburse Charlotte Reed Photography  for any loss/damage they cause to any equipment. 

No RAW images will be given, only edited images converted into JPEG with be given. 

All image sizes are nominal. The Photographer/s will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials especially man-made fibres. It is sometimes impossible to record on film or digitally the exact colour as seen by the human eye. For a booking involving a church ceremony or at certain venues, the photographer's movements are sometimes restricted by the official in charge. The area from which the photographer is able to cover the ceremony may not be the photographer's choice and the photographer cannot accept responsibility for any obstructed view should this be the case. The photographer usually takes up to double the amount of photos so the photographer has a choice of photos to edit and only delivers the very best to the client. Some photos taken on the day may not meet the required specifications such as poor lighting, harsh shadowing there for wont be given to the client.

After the wedding the photographer can take up to 8 weeks to edit and finish your images or wedding albums. The memory stick or wedding album with will be posted to you recorded delivery to ensure it arrives safely if it cannot be hand delivered.

Limit of Liability:

If a photographer is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the wedding services specified above the Photographer will try to book a replacement wedding photographer. The Photographers have working methods in place to prevent loss or damage to your images. However, there is the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons in or beyond our control. In these circumstances liability is limited to the return of fees paid for the service or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied. Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of subjects it may not be possible to capture all the images requested.

 

The photographer will try to fulfil any special requests for certain photos during the day by cannot be held responsible for any photo that was unable to be taken.
